Is COOLMAX® fabric made from polyester fibres?
COOLMAX® fabric is designed to move moisture away from the body and enhance fabric drying time therefore keeping you feeling cool and dry. COOLMAX® fabric delivers performance and comfort through the use of proprietary polyester fibres with unique engineered micro channel cross sections and/or specially engineered two sided, denier gradient fabrics made using qualifiable polyester or nylon yarns. The comfort of COOLMAX® fabric can be enhanced by using elasterell-p or introducing LYCRA® elastane. .
Is COOLMAX® fabric treated polyester?
No, COOLMAX® fabric is not treated polyester. The performance of COOLMAX® fabric is inherent in the fibre structure itself, thereby providing consistent performance wash after wash.
What's the difference between COOLMAX® fabric and other polyester fabrics?
COOLMAX® fabric is specially designed to provide not only superior moisture management, but also to enhance the wearer's comfort. The specially-engineered fibres comprising COOLMAX® fabric provide enhanced breathability (called "air permeability" by the techies) that differentiates COOLMAX® fabric from generic polyester fabrics. Air permeability is just one of our key performance tests that fabrics must pass before they can be sold under the "COOLMAX®" brand. And, remember, that all of the benefits of COOLMAX® fabric are permanently built right into the fibre, requiring no chemical treatments like other wicking fabrics.

Most products made with COOLMAX® fabric are machine washable and dryable; however, fabric softeners and chlorine bleach should NOT be used.
